View Driver Files

You can view the driver files for a device. The list of driver files enables you to identify the files used by the operating system to communicate with the device. The hardware device may stop functioning if a driver file deleted accidentally. You can fix device problems if you determine which driver file is deleted.

To view the driver files for a network adapter: -

1. Open Device Manager.

2. Expand Network Adapters.

3. Select the network adapter that is installed.

4. Right-click the network adapter. A shortcut menu appears.

5. Select Properties. The Properties dialog box appears,

6.Click the Driver tab. The Driver tab appears.

7. Click Driver Details. The Driver File Details appears,

8. Click OK.
