You can install a local printer or network printer. You can also create a port where you can install the printer. In addition, you can configure the printer by applying restriction for the availability of the printer. You can also redirect a print to another printer, using printer pooling.

Windows Server 2003 provides updates to the operating system. The updates contain patches that are identified and fixed. Your server can be at a great security risk if you do not update the server by applying updates. Windows provides manual and automatic updates. In manual updates, you manually connect the server to the Microsoft website and install the necessary patches. In automatic updates, the server is configured to connect to the Microsoft website at regular intervals, to download and install the patches.
