Add Hardware Wizard
In addition to the Device Manager Console, you can install devices using the Add Hardware wizard.
To install a network adapter:
1. Open Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add Hardware. The Add Hardware Wizard appears,
3. Click Next The Wizard searches for hardware devices. the hardware connected scree appears,
4.Select the Yes, I have already connected the hardware option.
5.Click Next. The Hardware List dialog box appears, as shown
6.Scroll down the list and select the Add a new hardware device option.
7.Click Next. The Hardware screens appears,
8.Select the Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) option.
9. Click Next. The Common Hardware Types Screen appears,
10.Select Network Adapters.
11.Click Next. The Select Network Adapter Screen appears,
12. Select Microsoft from the Manufacturer list.
13. Select Microsoft Loop back Adapter from the network Adapter list.
14. Click Next. The Hardware to Install Screen appears,
15. Click Next. Windows installs the device and displays the Finish Screen appears,
16. Click Finish.
