Creating Local User Groups
You create groups to store and manage multiple users, and computers with similar rights and permissions.
To create a new group:
1. Open Computer Management. The Computer Management console appears.
2. Expand Local Users and Groups.
3. Click Groups. The Default list of groups appears.
4. Select Action -* New Group. The New Group dialog box appears.
The different options available on the New Group dialog box are:
> Group name - Specifies a name for the group
> Description - Provides a description for the group
> Members - Lists the users in the group
> Add - Includes a user in the group
> Remove - Deletes the selected user from the group
> Create - Generates a group with the specified name
5. Enter the name for the group in the Group name text box, for example, Windows 2003.
6. Click Create. Windows Server 2003 creates the new local user group.
