Domain groups

The user account stores information about the user. The user information includes the user name, password, and the logon name. The user account validates the user when the user logs on to a Windows Server 2003 domain. The user account verifies the user name and password of the user and enables access to the network resources. You can create domain groups in Windows Server 2003 to simplify the managing users on a domain. When you add users to the group, 9ou can assign permissions to all the users in the group. A group can contain user accounts, computer accounts, and users. The group scope and group type determine the objects in a group.
