Dleting Domain Groups

Consider a scenario, where an organization is under the process of restructuring. The organization has decided to eliminate the Purchase department. You as the system administrator of the organization have been assigned the task of deleting the Purchase group from the domain.

To delete the Purchase Group:

1. Open Active Directory Users and Computers console. The Active Directory Users and Computers console appears.

2. Click Users. The list of groups appears.

3. Select Purchases.

4. Select Action > Delete. The Confirmation message box appears.

5. Click Yes. Windows Server 2003 deletes the Purchases group.
